Due Diligence

Due diligence is a process of gathering and analyzing information about potential counteragent, partner or entity, crucial for decision making such as entering into a business deal or commencing an investment project, as well as evaluating economic and financial health of the party of interest.

Due Diligence also assumes background check prior to buying a business from a third party (mergers and acquisitions). Speaking in more general terms, due diligence means performing a check on any counteragent where executing a business deal is important to your success.

Depending on the goals determined by the client, at Independence we can offer the following services:

- Legal check to validate the entity’s legitimacy, locate any ownership disputes, confirm ownership rights etc;
